Recruiting Roundup: Huskies Hosting Some Key Prospects

Huskies Hosting Important Visitors

NCAA Football: Brigham Young at Washington Jennifer Buchanan-USA TODAY Sports

This weekend the Huskies hosted 3 important official visitors this weekend. One of the official visitors, 4 star offensive tackle Julius Buelow, has already committed. The official visitors are 4 star outside linebacker Henry To’oto’o and 3 star defensive end Bralen Trice. Here is a look at their recruitment:

To’oto’o is a big time prospect who has offers from around the country including his top 5 of Alabama, Oregon, Cal, Tennessee, and UW. Listed at 6’2” and around 230 pounds To’oto’o out of De La Salle HS, CA projects at inside linebacker. The visit to UW is the first for To’oto’o, and UW is in good shape in his recruitment, with his best friend playing for UW (Tuli Letuligasenoa). Here are some of his highlights:

Trice, a 3 star defensive lineman out of Sandra Day O’Connor is projected to be a Buck if the Huskies were to land his commitment. He has a top 3 of Notre Dame, Oregon, and UW. His visit to UW is his last visit and he plans to commit to a school on the 6th of October. From the outside looking in it looks to be a Husky versus Notre Dame battle, and Trice has plans to go into the field of medicine. Here are his highlights:

4 star offensive tackle Buelow out of Kapolei HS, HI committed to UW over offers from Notre Dame, Oregon, Florida and several other schools. Listed at around 6’8” and 320 pounds he is a massive tackle prospect that bolsters an already impressive offensive line class for the Huskies. He projects at either tackle but based on his size he is probably more likely a right tackle. Here are some of his highlights and also a photo Buelow and fellow Husky commits Nathaniel Kalepo, and Troy Fautanu.

With 16 commits the Huskies are looking at bringing another 6-7 prospects in the 2019 class. That is all for now as always follow me @asieverkropp.
