Even though the Husky coaches have been preparing for yesterday’s game they have also been busy on the recruiting trail setting up visits, checking in on commits, and recruiting guys still on their board. Here is a look at some of what has been going on:
Next weekend it sounds like the Huskies will be hosting 5-star wideout Kyle Ford from Orange Lutheran HS, CA. He has offers from around the country including USC, Oregon, Michigan, Florida State, Colorado, and UW. The Huskies could use another wideout and Ford would be a big pickup. If UW can get him on campus that would be a big time step in trying to get Ford in the fold.
A few current commits have also been putting up big stats already in their first few games. Both Cameron Davis and Taj Davis from Upland HS, CA played Redlands East Valley HS. Davis had two rushing touchdowns and Davis had a touchdown grab as well. Here are some of their highlight clips from the game:

A few big-time targets have included UW in recent top lists.
Four-star defensive tackle Siaka Ika out of East High School, UT narrowed down his list to Alabama, LSU, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Oregon, USC, Utah, and UW. He is a big-time defensive tackle that UW would love to have. The coaches will probably take one more defensive tackle and Ika would be a perfect nose tackle. The Huskies are also hoping to build a pipeline to East High School with Sam Taimani on the roster already.

Four-star outside linebacker Henry To’oto’o out of De La Salle HS, CA recently trimmed his list of schools to five including Alabama, Tennessee, Oregon, Cal, and UW. The Huskies are looking to bring in a few more linebackers and Henry is close with current Husky Tuli Letuligasenoa. Most experts seems to think Alabama leads his recruitment currently.

Four star defensive end Laiatu Latu out of Jesuit HS, CA cut his list of schools down to five as well including USC, Cal, Oregon, UCLA, and UW. Most experts believe he will stay in California but UW hopes they can get him to come up on an official and if that happens they may be able to sway him to UW.

Lastly, 3-star tight end Bradley Archer from Livermore, CA received a Husky offer. Although he is a current Cal commit it sounds like he is going to trip to UW. Here are some of his highlights:
