Woof: Huskies Land 4 Star Defensive Tackle

Coach Pete reeled in 4 star defensive tackle Jacob Bandes out of Pittsburg HS, CA. Bandes committed to UW over offers from Clemson, Ole Miss, Oregon, and Cal. He is rated by 247sports as the #28 overall prospect in the 2019 class and the 3rd best defensive tackle after he dominated at The Opening. With the graduation of Greg Gaines and Jaylen Johnson the Huskies need some defensive linemen to replace their production and Bandes is a player who could definitely see the playing field in 2019.
