So far the Huskies are doing a good job of recruiting for the 2019 class. With 12 commits the Huskies are looking to add about 8 more players for the 2019 class. With a little less than 5 months until the first signing period here is a brief look at some of the big names the Huskies are hoping to add to their 2019 class:
Cameron Williams a 4 Star safety out of Bakersfield HS, CA will be making his decision in the next few days and it appears to be a UW and USC battle for his services. He is a big time defensive back who also plays quarterback for his school.
Jacob Bandes a 4 Star defensive tackle from Pittsburg HS, CA recently named a top 8 and included the Huskies in there. Based on where things stand now it looks like a Cal and UW battle for his services. He won the mvp for defensive lineman at the opening.
Joe Ngata a 4 Star wideout out of Folsom HS, CA and has offers from around the country. Some of the schools on his short list are USC, UW, and Clemson. The Huskies would love to add him to their wideout class for 2019. His brother playing for UW can’t hurt the Huskies chances here.
Daniel Heimuli a 3 Star inside linebacker from Menlo Atherton HS, CA also has offers from around the country and is seriously considering the Huskies. He also is considering USC, Alabama, Oregon and several other schools. His teammate Noa Ngalu is already committed to the Huskies.
Bralen Trice a 3 star defensive end out of Sandra O’Day Connor HS, AZ is a buck prospect the Huskies were the first to offer. He is a big time player that the Huskies are battling Notre Dame, Oregon, UCLA, and TCU for.
Maninoa Tufono out of Punaho HS, HI a 3 star inside linebacker who has offers from around the country. He is a legacy Husky, but the Huskies are battling LSU, Texas, UCLA, and USC for. Expect a decision from him prior to the December signing period.
Darien Chase a 4 star athlete out of Union HS, WA is a very athletic player that the Huskies are recruiting as a defensive back. He is committing in the month of August and the Huskies are battling Oregon for his services.
Faatui Tuitele a 4 star defensive tackle out of St Louis HS, HI narrowed his list down to Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State, Texas, and UW. With UW being the only west coast school it looks like UW has a good chance to try and sign this mammoth defensive tackle.
Julius Buelow a 4 star offensive tackle from Kapolei HS, HI visited UW unofficially for their dirt dawgs camp. The Huskies are battling Notre Dame, UCLA, and Utah for his services.
There are some other guys that the Huskies are after but the guys I listed above are some names to watch for.
That is all for now and as always follow me @asievekropp.
