Huskies Host Several Bigtime Prospects At Their Camps

NCAA Football: Fiesta Bowl-Penn State vs Washington Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

This weekend Washington coaches hosted a throwing camp for QB’s, a rising stars camp for skill position players, a dirt Dawgs camp for offensive and defensive lineman, and a kicking camp for specialists. Overall there were more than 250 players and here are some of the noteworthy players in attendance:

4 star wideout Mycah Pittman out of Calabasas HS, CA who holds offers from the likes of USC, Alabama, Florida, Oregon, and UW. He is a bigtime wideout who will be official visiting UW in a few weeks. He would be a bigtime pickup if the Huskies could somehow land him.

4 star wideout Puka Nacua out of Orem HS, UT who was recently offered by UW participated and looked good. He has offers from the likes of Utah, UCLA, USC, and UW. He is a bigger wideout who the Huskies would love to add to their class.

3 star defensive end Peter Mgapi out of George Ranch HS, TX was also in attendance. He holds offers from the likes of Northwestern, Arkansas, Texas Tech, Baylor, California, and UW.

4 star defensive back Darien Chase out of Union HS, WA was on campus to participate and looked good at DB. He holds offers from Oregon, UW, Utah, and Oregon State. He is one of the top prospects in the state and plans to commit in August.

Miki Ah You a 3 star linebacker out of Kahuku HS, HI was in town and participated at camp along with his younger brother. Miki currently holds offers from Oregon, Nebraska, ASU, Cal, and UW.

4 star offensive tackle Julius Buelow out of Kapolei HS, HI was in town and hanging out with current Husky commit Nathaniel Kalepo. Buelow holds offers from Utah, Notre Dame, TCU, UCLA, and UW.

A few underclassmen also participated including Eastside Catholic’s wideout Gee Scott, tight end DJ Rogers, defensive back Ayden Hector, and running back Sam Adams. All are 2020 players who are being recruited by UW and are looking to get an offer.

2021 QB Sam Huard out of Kennedy Catholic HS, WA was on campus to spin the ball. He was the national freshmen of the year last year and with his family ties to UW expect UW to be in a good spot with him when they offer.

That is all for now and as always follow me @asieverkropp.
