Football Dots

  • Jon Wilner had an in-depth interview with Washington AD Jen Cohen on a variety of topics including what Cohen looks for in a hire. Great read.
  • The Huskies were shut out from 50-31 in SI’s top-100 college football players for 2018. But they’re back with a vengeance with a trio of players from 30-11.
  • Dawgman ($) has the latest in their Q&A with each incoming 2018 freshman with DB Julius Irvin.
  • They ($) also look at what the commitment of LB Miki Ah You last week means for the rest of the recruiting class and the impact he might make when he gets to campus.
  • The Huskies made the top-7 for a 4-star DE but Stanford is the heavy favorite. Nonetheless, it’s a sweet edit. Though probably for the best they didn’t go realistic for the Notre Dame logo for racial sensitivity reasons.
  • Husky incoming freshmen are arriving on campus this week for the start of summer classes.

Basketball Dots

  • A reminder that Coach Mike Hopkins will be a part of Yahoo’s NBA Draft coverage tomorrow night.
