Dawgs Land 3 Star Hawaiian Linebacker

NCAA Football: Fiesta Bowl-Penn State vs Washington Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

The good news continued today for Coach Pete and his staff thanks to Miki Ah You, a 3 star linebacker from Kahuku HS, HI. Ah You committed to UW over offers from Nebraska, Oregon, Cal, Ole Miss, and ASU. He is projected to play outside linebacker for UW and is listed at around 6’1” and 220 pounds. He is an active linebacker who can fly around and lay the lumber. He is an excellent pickup and the second commit from Hawaii in this class along with 4 star defensive lineman Sama Paama. This is a good year for Hawaii in terms of D1 prospects and the Huskies are heavily in the mix on a bunch of other players from the Islands (4 star offensive tackle Julius Buelow, 4 star linebacker Maninoa Tufono, and 4 star defensive tackle Faatui Tuitele).

Here are his highlights:

He is the tenth known commit for the class. Please welcome him to Husky Nation and as always follow me @asieverkropp.
