Recruiting Roundup: A Look At Some Recent Offers

Coach Pete and his staff has been aggressive in offering prospects recently including several from the lone star state. Here is a look at some of the recent Husky offers that have gone out:

Drake Jackson a 4 star defensive end out of Centennial HS, CA who holds offers currently from USC, ASU, Arizona, and UW. He is a bigtime player who can definitely get after the passer.

David Gbenda a 4 star inside linebacker out of Cinco Ranch HS, TX currently has offers from Texas, TCU, Notre Dame, and Nebraska. He isn’t the biggest linebacker but he is active and can run.

Cameron Williams a 4 star safety out of Bakersfield HS, CA who is currently committed to Oregon has offers from UCLA, USC, Arizona and ASU. He is an active and physical DB that Jimmy Lake covets.

Troy Fautanu a 3 star defensive lineman out of Liberty HS, NV who has offers from USC, Duke, Colorado. It sounds like the Husky coaches are recruiting him as an offensive lineman who can play tackle for them.

Mycah Pittman a 4 star wideout out of Calabasas HS, CA currently holds offers from the likes of Oregon, USC, Alabama, Nebraska, and Florida. He is a bigtime playmaker who can score from anywhere on the field.

Peter Mgapi a 3 star defensive end out of George Ranch HS, TX who has offers from the likes of Nebraska, Northwestern, and Arkansas. He is a lengthy prospect who fits into a buck position if he commits to the Huskies.

They also offered a few 2020 prospects including 5 star defensive back Elias Ricks out of Mater Dei HS, CA. He is the top DB on the west coast for the 2020 class and the Huskies were able to get in early on him.

The Huskies currently have 7 commits in the 2019 class with the class expected to be around 20-22 players. That is all for now and as always follow me @asieverkropp.
