- Former Husky offensive lineman Michael Kneip has been named the new head football coach at his alma mater, Bellevue High School.

- More rankings: Athlon lists its top starting QBs in the country from Coastal Carolina’s Kilton Anderson at #130 to West Virginia’s Will Grier at #1. Jake Browning is in the top 10, and second in the Pac-12.
- NFLDraftScout released its preseason All-American team. A UW safety is on the first team, and an offensive tackle returning from injury makes the second team.
- Pacific Takes’ Jack Follman lists 12 significant Pac-12 players returning from injury in 2018. A third of the list is made up of Huskies.
