Former Washington Huskies linebacker Azeem Victor had his day, week, and year made, when the Oakland Raiders announced his selection with the 42nd pick in the 6th round of the 2018 NFL Draft.
Victor was the heart of the UW defense for much of his Washington career until he broke his leg in the loss to USC in 2016. His absence was felt acutely the rest of the year. Expectations were high with his return in 2017 but he appeared to never regain his form and was eventually suspended for the remainder of the year following a DUI.
