Conversation With A Husky Target

Today, I had a chance to talk to 4-star defensive tackle and top 100 player in the 2019 class Jacob Bandes out of Antioch HS, CA. He has offers from UW, UCLA, Oregon, and a few other schools. Here is what he had to say:

Hey Jacob thanks for taking some time out of your day to talk to Husky fans. How did you start to communicate with the Husky staff and when they offered how big of a deal was the offer for you?

Washington Was The First School To Ever Talk To Me Before I Had All Of My Offers

What do you think of Coach Petersen and the Husky football team?

I Think Coach Pete is an amazing person and Coach. He really is about family and the Washington Huskies is all about taking care of family.

Now that you have the Husky offer do you have any plans to check out Seattle and Husky Stadium?

Yes later in the spring I will take an unofficial visit waiting to see the great city of Seattle and U-Dub.

I am sure as a top 100 player nationally you have other schools recruiting you. What schools are recruiting you the hardest now?

The Other Schools That Are Recruiting Me Hard Is : Oregon , Oregon State, Arizona State and UCLA.

What are you looking for in the school that you decide to attend?

I Really Don’t Have A Preference In A School Of What They Have and Don’t Have For Me. To Me It’s The Tone And Vibe Of How I Like The School. I Don’t Care About Weather Or Towns Or Cities. It’s Just If I Have A Good Feeling, I Have A Good Feeling.

When are you looking to make your decision and you trying to enroll?

I Just set up all of my classes last week and ready to enroll early.

Again thanks for taking time out of your day to answer my questions.

Yeah Thank you For Having Me Mr.Sieverkropp have a Nice Day. Thank you For Your Time And GO HUSKIES !!!!!

He is rated as a top 100 prospect and the #4 defensive tackle in 2019 according to 247 sports. Here are his highlights from his Junior season:

We will stay in touch with Jacob throughout the recruiting process. That is all for now and as always follow me @asievekropp.
