In the last four years, Washington has gone 25-8 against its 2019 opponents, with the losses coming against Cal, Stanford, Oregon, and Utah in 2015, USC in 2016, Stanford in 2017, and Cal and Oregon in 2018. At first glance, it appears that the Sept. 28 to Oct. 19 stretch of versus USC, at Stanford, at Arizona and versus Oregon will define the season: Since 2014 (Chris Petersen’s first year), UW is 7-8 against those four teams, and has gone 1-5 in games played in the state of Arizona.
