Good morning Husky fans, these next couple of weeks will be very busy leading up to the December 20th signing day. Almost immediately following the Huskies win in the PAC 12 championship Coach Pete and his staff were on the road visiting prospects. Here is a quick look at who they visited:
4 Star defensive end Laiatu Latu out of Jesuit HS, CA was one of the first stops for the Huskies and he had Coach Pete, Coach K, and Coach Gregory visiting him.

Latu is scheduled to visit UW on December 14th and 15th. Listed at almost 6’5” and around 240 pounds Latu has the size and speed to potentially come in and play at the Buck position. He has offers from around the country including Alabama, Georgia, Florida, USC, Cal, and UW. He is rumored to be down to USC, Cal, and UW with the Huskies having the last visit before he signs. Here is a look at his film:
Down in LA the Huskies Coach Malloe was visiting 4 Star defensive lineman Stephon Wright out of Cathedral HS, CA. Wright visited the Huskies a few weeks ago and after his visit he pushed back his commitment date. It sounds like he is torn between ASU, and UW currently. He is still planning on signing on the 20th so expect some news from him soon.
It also sounds like UW visited 4 star wideout Puka Nacua out of Orem HS, UT. Nacua is currently committed to USC but with so much coaching change there he is looking at his options. Nacua visited UW in the summer and attended their rising stars camp, but ultimately committed to USC after visiting them. Listed at 6’2” and around 190 pounds Nacua is a top wideout in the 2019 class and 247 sports has him rated as the 11th best wideout in the country. It sounds like UW is trying to get him to visit, and if they do they will have a good shot at flipping him. Nacua’s brother currently plays at Utah who is also trying to flip him from USC. It does appear that the Huskies are trying to bring in a 2nd wideout for the class and Nacua would be a good fit in the Huskies offense and add some more size to the position. Here is a look at his film:
The Huskies currently have 19 commits and it appears that they may take close to a full class between 23-25 players. Husky coaches will continue visiting players throughout the next couple of weeks and the next 2 weekends are scheduled to be big visit weekends leading up to the 20th of December. That is all for now as always follow me @asieverkropp.
