Chris Petersen picked up a rare JUCO prospect this morning, as three-star offensive tackle Corey Luciano has submitted his letter of intent to play for Chris Petersen at the University of Washington.

Luciano originally hails from Danville, Calif., Monta Vista High School, which also produced Huskies Peyton Henry and Jake Haener. He spent the 2018 season playing at Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill, Calif., where he developed into the nation’s No. 31 junior college prospect, according to 247 Sports. At 6-4 and 275 lbs., he projects to develop into an interior lineman at the FBS level. He chose the Huskies over scholarship offers from USC and Nebraska, and will enroll at Washington with three years of eligibility.
