Football Dots
- ILB Ben Burr-Kirven was named a 1st team AP All-American yesterday while CB Byron Murphy and S Taylor Rapp were named to the 2nd team. The 3 Huskies were the only non-ST players from the Pac-12 to make the 1st or 2nd teams.
- ESPN released their 1st team All-Americans and BBK and Taylor Rapp both made the team.
- ESPN also put out their all-conference 1st teams and awards and C Nick Harris, DT Greg Gaines, ILB BBK, CB Byron Murphy, and Taylor Rapp all made the list.
- Greg Gaines and Kaleb McGary won the Morris Trophy given to the best offensive and defensive linemen in the Pac-12 as named by the players. It’s the 1st time the Huskies swept the award since 1991 when it went to Steven Emtman and Lincoln Kennedy. Vita Vea won the trophy as a defensive lineman last season.

- The Dawgman guys also have a quick chat with Byron Murphy about getting ready for Ohio State and the decision looming in front of him on whether to be an early entrant in the NFL Draft as a projected 1st-2nd round pick.
Basketball Dots
- For the 2nd time this season Jaylen Nowell was named Pac-12 player of the week. He averaged 22.5 points, 6 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game on 55% shooting in a win over Seattle U and narrow loss at #1 Gonzaga.
