The 111th Apple Cup kicks off today as the Washington Huskies and Washington State Cougars face off in a game that will decide which team wins the North Division and advances to play the Utah Utes in next week’s Pac-12 championship game. Washington enters the game with a 72-32-6 edge in the series and has won a lopsided eight of the last nine contests, but Wazzu has excelled this year under their mustachioed quarterback Gardner Minshew II, who leads the nation with 4,325 passing yards and has completed an impressive 36 touchdowns compared to just seven interceptions.

The betting line for today’s game is set at Washington State -3.0 while the over/under sits at 49.0, meaning that bettors have predicted a final score of Washington State 26, Washington 23.
