Husky Commits Start Their Season

NCAA Football: Washington at Rutgers Ed Mulholland-USA TODAY Sports

Most of the 2018 Husky football commits started their senior seasons this last week and a couple had huge games in their openers.

Marquis Spiker a 4 star wideout out of Murrieta Valley HS, CA had 6 touchdown receptions in his teams win over Redlands HS, CA. He set an inland empire record on his big night.

Trey Lowe a 4 star WR/APB out of Jesuit HS, OR had 5 touchdowns and 237 yards receiving in his teams win over Tigard HS, OR. He projects to play wide receiver for the Huskies.

Devin Culp's Gonzaga Prep HS, WA played Eastside Catholic (at Husky Stadium) and although they lost, Culp's team was competitive and Culp himself scored a rushing touchdown. He is a 4 star tight end and Coach Pete was at the game checking him out.

Next week the Huskies will start hosting some official visitors and it sounds like Richard Newton a 3 star running back out of Palmdale HS, CA will be in town. He is thought to be a Husky lean at this time. As of now that is the only scheduled visitor.
