The Washington Huskies will wrap up the non-conference portion of their 2017 schedule tonight when they take on Fresno State Bulldogs. The Bulldogs are in the midst of rebuilding a program that hasn’t beaten an FBS opponent since November 2015, and hired Jeff Teford as head coach late last year in an effort to right the ship. In addition to his experience as California’s head coach from 2002 to 2012, Tedford spent 2016 as an off-field offensive consultant at Washington, helping offensive coordinator Jonathan Smith engineer the nation’s No. 8 scoring offense. With roughly an hour to go until kickoff, Vegas favored the Huskies to win by a margin of 33.5 points.
