Husky QB Shines in Debut

NCAA Football: Montana at Washington Joe Nicholson-USA TODAY Sports

This last weekend was a good weekend for not having of it's QB commits including one who made his 2018 debut:

Colson Yankoff a 4 star QB out of Coeur d'Alene accounted for 293 total yards and rushed for 3 touchdowns in his return to action. He was recovering from a sprained MCL and made it back to help his team to a win. 2 of his touchdowns went for over 70 yards.

Also, Jacob Sirmon a 4 star QB out of Bothell HS had a good bounce back game in his teams victory over Mt Si High School 35-14. Last week he struggled against Woodinville in his opening game.

In other news there were no visitors but the Huskies did extend some offers:

Mase Funa a 2019 4 star linebacker out of Mater Dei HS, CA received a Husky offer and currently holds a USC offer as well.

Jude Wolfe a 3 star TE out of St John Bosco HS, CA also received a Husky offer this last week and currently holds offers from the likes of ASU, and USC.

Although there were no official visitors this last week for the Huskies it sounds like there may be a couple this next week: Richard Newton a 3 star tailback out of Palmdale HS, CA and Julius Irvin a 4 star Safety out of Service HS, CA. Both are big targets for the Huskies.

That is all for now and as always follow me @asieverkropp for the latest information.
