• So far, everyone seems to be drooling over new freshman Salvon Ahmed. (The first link is Todd Milles and the second is Adam Jude)
• In addition to Ahmed, The Tacoma News Tribune’s Todd Milles is impressed with a few other young players.

• ESPN ranked the 50 best college football players and UW’s own Jake Browning cracked the top 15. Three other Huskies are in the top 50-26.
• Speaking of ESPN, Sports Nation is asking you to rank the best college quarterbacks and running backs right now. (As of 2:36 PM, Browning is the #4 QB and Gaskin is the #6 RB)
• Also, a new Don James statue (not that there was an old one) will be unveiled during homecoming weekend.
• Pacific Takes is doing their countdown of the 50 best players in the Pac-12 and Nos. 6-10 are loaded with Huskies.
• Finally, check out NCAA’s article on 5 things to watch for during UW’s fall camp.
