Dots: lovin’ on Lavon

Is he 1a or 1b in the hearts of Husky fans?

Good luck with that, Chidobe Awuzie.

We’ve just a little over two weeks until some real football arrives. If we can survive global warming, trade deficits and the great white supremacist surge, we should be good to go (and, please don’t take that as permission to get all politicalishness in the comments...its just about the football).

... One of UW’s most beloved all time players made a huge statement in his attempt to make an NFL roster. Kasen Williams had 4 catches - all of them in the “high degree of difficulty” rating for a team-leading 119 yards. Williams showed off the value of his insane leaping ability in his bid to earn a role with the Seahawks.

... UW practiced this past weekend. Adam Jude has some notes with the deets while UW offered some photos:

... my, my, my ... are you not looking svelte Mr. Lavon Coleman? (Editor’s note: this man looks like he’s about ready to wreck some people in 2017)

... is this the year that we finally agree that Austin Joyner’s true potential was on the defensive side of the ball?

... you know that interest in Husky football has peaked when gym-rat, 2nd-string inside linebackers with flowing blond locks are getting features written about them in mainstream news outlets.

... Our friends at Bruin’s Nation preview UCLA’s showdown with UW later in the year. Probably not a surprise ... they don’t like their odds. They do manage, nonetheless, to take some potshots at UW along the way. Definitely worth a read.

... UW MBB coach Mike Hopkins was out rustling up some trouble over the weekend. Funny, I thought he was taller:

... Speaking of which, the boys at Pacific Takes like UW commit Ed Chang.

... All the while, our lady Dawgs are getting some work in:

... If you can’t wait for some fall sports, consider Women’s soccer. The season starts this week:

...and, for a little fun, here is the one thing that WSU dominates UW in. Go Cougs.

That’s all I got. Go get ‘em. And, for crying out loud, be nice about it.
