Dots: why Chris Petersen thinks UW can have it all

and camp starts this week. Yay!

No time to wait. Let’s jump into the dots.

... Chris Petersen is looking for OKGs. He is not looking for saints. But he sees no reason that he cannot have it all.

... Adam Jude’s Husky Podcast is back with an appearance by the Soft one.

... Speaking of our pal Adam, expect him to step up as Christian Caple transitions out of the industry. Last week, he posted five candidates for breakouts in 2018. It's a solid list, but it ignores my number one candidate. Let’s see if you can figure out who it is.

... and, on the subject of Caple and “top 5” lists, he’s got his tally of top UW story lines as camp gets ready to kick off. I think he has hit on the big ones, though the (quite literally) biggest one is not on his list.

... Chris Petersen made OregonLive’s list of best media day quotes ... twice!

... the Sporting News has updated its forecast of winners, losers and Heisman hopefuls from the PAC 12 following the media days extravaganza.

... UW MBB fans might be interested in the story of a budding Las Vegas basketball star (a sophomore), a beloved UW alumnus and a scholarship offer from coach Mike Hopkins.

... Guess who’s back? Former UW star Marcel Reece in Seattle, that’s who. And he is already affecting the lives of Seahawk rookies.

... Let’s hope that John Ross’s Cincinnati Bengal buddies don’t follow Dane Crane

... UW alums now in the NFL are generating buzz coast-to-coast. Elijah Qualls is no exception. Yeah, we didn’t see this one coming... right?

... and a little Men’s golf news. Let’s give a big shout out to new assistant Tom Sutton! #WOOF

On a side note, I’d like to throw a little love to a special (young) lady who 18 years ago on this day made the foolhardy decision to join me on this wild journey that has taken us across the continent and into Europe. Happy Anniversary, Jenny. I can say with little reservation that I got the better end of this deal.
