  • Markelle Fultz is the first Husky ever drafted #1 overall in the NBA. Here’s the story from Dawgman. He’s the first #1 from the Pac (8-10-12) since Bill Walton in 1974. (Utah had not upgraded conferences when Andrew Bogut went #1 overall to the Bucks in ‘05).

We know he was only at UW for one (historically terrible) season, but it’ll be hard not to cheer for Fultz. He has a cool, professional demeanor and Philly has a nice young nucleus:
