Husky Coaches Host Some Recruits

NCAA Football: Washington Spring Game Jennifer Buchanan-USA TODAY Sports

Husky Coaches were busy this weekend hosting a QB camp and also one of their rising stars camps. Below is a list of Some prospects who participated.

At the QB camp throwing were two significant 2018 and 2019 prospects including:

Jacob Sirmon a 2018 Washington commit, out of Bothell HS, Wa. He is a 4 star recruit on most sites.

Dylan Morris a 4 star 2019 QB out of Graham Kapowsin HS, WA. He has a Washington offer currently along with Nebraska and Oregon State.

They also hosted a rising stars camp for skill position players. There were a few notable players participating:

Dominique Hampton a 3 star cornerback out of Peoria, AZ participated and was offered. He holds offers from Arizona, ASU, Colorado, and WSU.

Also participating was 3 star cornerback Tyrek Labeuf out of Long Beach Poly HS, CA. He has yet to receive a UW offer but one may be forthcoming any day now.

This week is also a busy week as the coaches will host some big time prospects on unofficial visits:

Nick Bolton a 3 star inside linebacker out of Lone Star HS, TX will be on campus on Thursday. He currently holds offers from Colorado, Houston, Utah, and UW.

Vernon McKinley III a 4 star cornerback out of Hebron HS, TX will be on campus on Wednesday. He currently holds offers from Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, LSU, and UW (and many more as well).

Matteo Mele a 4 star offensive tackle out of Sal Pointe Catholic HS, AZ will also be on campus this weekend. He has offers from Arizona, ASU, Oklahoma, UCLA, and UW.

They also hosted some prospects this last week on campus including:

Justin Dedich a 4 star offensive lineman out of Chaparrel HS, CA. He just committed to USC today.

Husky coaches also hosted 2019 defensive line prospect Faatui Tuitele, a 4 star defensive lineman out of St. Louis HS, HI. He is one of the top defensive lineman for the 2019 class.

Lastly a couple of big time prospects cut their lists of schools down:

Camren McDonald a 4 star TE out of Long Beach Poly HS, CA included UW in his top 8.

Sam Taimani a 4 star offensive-defensive lineman out of East HS, UT included UW in his top 7.

This is a busy time for recruiting and it will only get busier this summer. UW will be hosting their 2nd rising stars camp in July, and expect a lot of top players to participate that are on the Husky coaches recruiting board.
