Coach Petersen and his staff hosted a regional camp down in California this past week and there were some noteable participants:
Richard Newton, a 3 star running back out of Palmdale CA, was the fastest man at the camp and currently holds a Husky offer along with offers from Cal, WSU, and Utah. He is thought to be a heavy Husky lean right now.
Both Marquis Spiker and Austin Osborne, 4 star wideouts and current Husky commits, were participants as well.

Jacob Sirmon, a 4 star QB and current Husky commit out of Bothell HS, recently participated in the Elite 11 competition this last weekend in California. Although he didn't make the final Elite 11, he did have his moments. He also reaffirmed to reporters that he is 100% committed to UW.

Colson Yankoff, a 4 star QB out of Coeur d’Alene HS, ID and current Husky commit was also there, but he was unable to participate in individual drills due to an injury. He will be fully healed in time for his senior season.
In other recruiting news Bryan Addison, a 4 star athlete out of Junipero Serra HS, CA, recently trimmed his list to seven and included the Huskies in that list.

Husky coaches are also hosting their Rising Stars camp next weekend and it sounds like all of the current commits will be in town. There will also be lots of other 2018 and 2019 prospects at the camp. We will share participants as they are confirmed.
Justin Dedich, a 4 star offensive lineman out of Chaparral HS, CA will be in town on the 14th to hang out with the coaches. He has offers from most of the PAC 12.
