Husky Coaches Visiting And Offering Top Prospects

NCAA Football: Washington Spring Game Jennifer Buchanan-USA TODAY Sports

Every assistant coach has been on the road recruiting since the end of spring ball. Here are some of the visits and places the coaches have gone:

Coach Lake has visited most of his top DB prospects including Julius Irvin a 4 star defensive back out of Servite HS, CA. He also checked in on some incoming freshmen:

Coach Huff was all over the place visiting top offensive lineman including Matteo Mele a 4 star lineman from Salpointe Catholic HS, AZ who he offered:

Coach Lubick visited prospects in Texas and also current commits Austin Osborne and Marquis Spiker.

Coach Bhonapha was in California visiting some tailbacks including Richard Newton a 3 star running back out of Palmdale, CA.

Coach Paopao was out checking on current commit Devin Culp and he visited Arizona prospects as well.

Coach Smith was checking on current commits Jacob Sirmon and also Colson Yankoff.

Coach Kwiatkowski was in Texas and extending offers to some top defensive prospects including Bobby Brown a 4 star defensive tackle out of Lamar HS, Texas. He also offered Nick Bolton a 3 star inside linebacker from Lone Star HS, Texas. Vernon McKinley a 4 star cornerback out of Hebron HS, Texas was also offered.

Coach Gregory was busy visiting prospects in Northern California and locally.

Coach Malloe was busy visiting prospects in Utah and UW offered Jackson Cravens a 3 star defensive lineman out of Timpvire HS, Utah.

Based on the offers Husky coaches are hitting the defensive side of the ball hard on the recruiting trail and they are more aggressive in Texas this year.

That’s all for now and as always you can follow me @asieverkropp.
