Husky 2018 Recruiting Class A Top 10 Class So Far

Huskies Doing Well On Recruiting Trail

NCAA Football: Washington Spring Game Jennifer Buchanan-USA TODAY Sports

Coach Petersen and company have been busy wrapping up Spring Ball. However they also have been busy on the recruiting trail extending offers and also hosting prospects on unofficial visits. Depending on the recruiting service you follow, the Husky 2018 recruiting class is a Top 10 class.

Below are a list of the current commits:

Jacob Sirmon, a 4 star QB out of Bothell HS, WA.

Jackson Sirmon, a 3 star linebacker out of Brentwood Academy, TN.

Austin Osborne, a 4 star WR out of Mission Viejo HS, CA.

Trey Lowe, a 4 star WR out of Jesuit HS, OR.

Marquis Spiker, a 4 star WR out of Murrieta Valley HS, CA. Here is a photo of Spiker and Osborne at a recent 7 on 7.

Colson Yankoff, a 4 star QB out of Coeur d’Alene HS, ID.

Devin Culp, a 4 star TE out of Gonzaga Prep HS, WA.

Draco Bynum, a 4 star DE out of Wilsonville HS, OR.

With 8 commitments already for the class here are some names to follow in the coming months:

Richard Newton, a 3 star RB out of Palmdale HS, CA.

Zion Tuipelta, a 3 star DE out of Pearl Ridge HS, HI.

Julius Irvin, a 4 star Safety out of Servite HS, CA. Below is a photo of him while on campus:

Josiah Bradley, a 4 star Athlete being recruited as a linebacker out of Saguaro HS, AZ. Here is a photo of him on campus last weekend:

Jevon Holland, a 4 star DB out of Bishop O’Dowd HS, CA.

M.J. Ale, a 3 star OL out of Fife HS, WA.

It sounds like there are around 22 spots for the 2018 class. With more than 13 of the class already committed Husky coaches will be looking to add some beef across the offensive and defensive line. So far they have been able to load up on quarterbacks and big-bodied wideouts, which was a priority for them.

That is all for now, as always you can follow me @asieverkropp.
