This weekend Husky coaches are hosting some local visitors along with a huge (literally) wide receiver target.
Below are some notable visitors this weekend from Junior Day (not an exhaustive list):
Marquis Spiker, a 4-star wideout out of Murrieta Valley HS, California. He is one of the top California wideouts and has offers from the likes of USC, Michigan, Oregon, UCLA, and UW. He is considered a Husky lean and would be a huge get for Coach Pete. It will be interesting to see who is hired to replace Bush Hamdan and if Spiker will wait on the hire to make his decision.
Kyler Gordon, a 4-star corner out of Archbishop Murphy HS, Washington. Kyler is probably the second most important in-state recruit behind UW commit Jacob Sirmon. He has offers from Nebraska, Oregon, Stanford, and UW. He is another prospect who is rumored to be a Husky lean.
Ben Wilson, a 4-star (Scout.com ranking) inside linebacker from Summer HS, Washington. His offers include UCLA, Louisville, Utah, and WSU. He is waiting for a Husky offer and may get one this weekend.
Trey Lowe, a 4-star athlete out of Jesuit HS, Oregon and brother of former Duck player Keenan Lowe. He has offers from Oregon and Oregon State and is waiting for a Husky offer. It will be tough to beat the Ducks for him, but don't count out Chris Petersen.
All four of these guys are highly recruited players whom the coaches would love to add to their 2018 class, assuming Wilson and Lowe get offers (they soon should).
A few other players attending include:
Matthew Cindric, a 3-star offensive tackle from Skyline HS, WA.
Dylan Morris, a 4-star quarterback (class of 2019) out of Graham-Kapowsin HS, WA.
Tre Weed, a 3-star athlete from Sumner HS, WA.
Malik Putney, a 3-star safety out of Eastside Catholic HS, WA.
Husky coaches also offered a few top 2018 recruits this last weekend:
Tuli Letuligasenoa, a 4-star defensive tackle out of De La Salle HS, CA.
