To the surprise of those who had previously considered him a lock to Brigham Young University, Jordan Lolohea (East High School / Salt Lake City) bucked the conventional wisdom this morning by committing to Chris Petersen and the University of Washington. A member of the LDS church, Lolohea plans to soon embark on his two-year mission before enrolling at UW in 2019.

247 Sports rates Lolohea as a 6-3, 240 lb. three-star recruit, and the No. 31 strong-side defensive end as well as the No. 686 overall recruit. He chose the Huskies over schools such as BYU, Utah, Oregon, Colorado and others.
