247 Sports lists Bainivalu as a 6-6, 290 lb. four-star prospect, and the No. 19 offensive tackle in the nation as well as the No. 196 overall recruit. (It bears mentioning that the Washington coaching staff reportedly projects him to play offensive guard.) According to Scout’s Greg Biggins, Bainivalu “shows good lateral mobility, can step out and shuffle his feet in pass protection and is very good as a run blocker. ... You have to love the nastiness he plays with and his game translates very well to the next level.”
