Husky tight end coach Jordan Paopao is a happy man today, with his top target Hunter Bryant signing his letter of intent at the University of Washington. Bryant, who comes from Eastside Catholic High School in Sammamish, Wash., is a consensus four-star prospect by all of the recruiting services. He committed to Chris Petersen over offers from UCLA, USC, and Auburn.

Bryant’s game has been described as resembling Pro Bowler Vernon Davis, in that he is a tight end who will line up as a wideout and create an immediate mismatch against defending linebackers. He will also fight for the ball in the air and break tackles when he is in the open field.

Please welcome Bryant to Montlake, Husky fans.
