The University of Washington’s stellar defensive secondary just got even better, as cornerback Elijah Molden (West Linn High School/West Linn, Ore.) has sent in his letter of intent to become a Dawg.

247 Sports lists Molden as a 5-11, 185 lb. four-star prospect, and the No. 24 cornerback in the nation as well as the No. 187 overall recruit. According to Scout’s Greg Biggins, Molden possesses “a great natural feel for playing corner ... He has a tremendous work ethic off the field and is the kind of player you want leading your secondary.” The fact that his father is Oregon legend Alex Molden, and that the Ducks desperately wanted him, is just the icing on the cake.
