Football Dots

  • Vita Vea was named the Pat Tillman Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year
  • It’s not shocking then that he was also named the Morris Trophy winner for Best Defensive Lineman of the Year
  • Hercules Mata’afa was clearly a little upset about not winning either award. We’ve got one word for you Hercules: Scoreboard.
  • A total of 5 Huskies made the All-Conference First Team, 6 made All-Conference Second Team, and 5 more made All-Conference Honorable Mention. You can check out details in Chris’s article here.
  • And now for the Schadenfreude. Willie Taggart officially left Oregon to accept the head coach position at Florida State. John Canzano writes that the Ducks got played. And the folks over at ATQ concluded what turned out to be a 5 day long meltdown/implosion. Rivals has an update on what Oregon recruits said on twitter after realizing the coach they’d committed to would be leaving after just one year which includes four 4-star decommitments so far.

Basketball Dots
