#11 Washington 10-2 (7-2) vs. #9 Penn State 10-2 (7-2)
Date: Saturday, December 30th
Time: 1:00pm PST
Location: University of Phoenix Stadium, Glendale, Arizona
TV: ESPN
Streaming: ESPN.com/watch
Radio: KOMO AM 1000
Excitement Rating: 10/10 (I will always give UW a 10/10 in the excitement rating. Actual score 10/10...). It doesn’t get much better than this. Of course, it can get better than this as it did last year when the Huskies took on Alabama in the College Football Playoff. But it doesn’t get much better than this. The Huskies will have their hands full with the best opponent they’ve played all season. Unlike last year when the neutral site gave an advantage towards Alabama, playing in Phoenix should mean we see better than 50% of the fans wearing purple. This is a battle between two almost evenly matched teams and anything but a close game that comes down to the wire will be a disappointment. Unless it’s a Washington blowout. That would work too.
