Husky coaches have been out on the road since last Saturday visiting a ton of recruits on in home visits to both committed and uncommitted players. The in home visit to Richard Newton, a 3 star tailback out of Palmdale HS, CA resulted in his commitment. Here are some of the other guys who were visited this last week (not a full list):
Dominique Hampton a 3 star cornerback out of Centennial HS, AZ won a state championship with Coach Lake in atte dance last night had a pick 6.

Now onto a few newsworthy items. Coach Pete and his coaches visited a ton of guys this last week and with the December signing period coming in a few weeks there are some guys who Husky fans need to watch:
Tommy Togiai a 4 star defensive lineman out of Highland HS, ID will reportedly decide between OSU and UW in the coming weeks and it sounds like UW is in a great spot to land his commitment.
Treshaun Harrison a 4 star athlete out of Garfield HS, WA decommitted from Oregon yesterday. It will be interesting to see if UW will make a push for him at RB now that he is back on the market. It sounds like UCLA is also in the hunt for him.
Kyler Gordon a 4 star cornerback out of Archbishop Murphy HS, WA is looking hard at UW and Notre Dame. He had Brian Kelly in his house along with Coach Lake and it sounds like UW is in good shape to land his commitment.
UW has 14 commitments and they have room for another 4-6 guys. Next weekend is a huge official visit weekend with a lot of the current commits expected to be in town. There will also be some top targets in town (I will pass those names along after they visit). All of the current commits are expected to sign their LOI's during the December signing period. That is all for now and as always follow me @asieverkropp.
