Bothell QB Jacob Sirmon became the 13th player to sign during the early signing period and officially become a Husky.
He verbally committed to Chris Petersen and the Huskies over two years ago, and hasn’t looked back since. Today, he made it official.
There was some worry that the 4-star quarterback prospect would waver when fellow blue chip QB Colson Yankoff committed, but Sirmon has been all Dawg from the start.
The nephew of former UW defensive coordinator Peter Sirmon brings a strong arm and great size to the position, checking in at 6-4, 226 pounds. He is a nice athlete too, and will look to compete for the starting position after Jake Browning graduates.
Sirmon graduated high school early and plans to enroll at UW in January to participate in spring practice. Your next chance to see him before that is at the Under Armour All-American Game on January 4th.
