Washington Huskies linebackers coach Bob Gregory secured his latest player today, when three-star inside linebacker MJ Tafisi (6-1, 220 lbs.) submitted his letter of intent to play for UW.
Very excited to introduce another big time player to Husky Nation @tfs1luv! Get ready to see this guy fly around at linebacker! #PurpleReign #LBP pic.twitter.com/9N7XuI3tTK

Tafisi selected the Huskies over scholarship offers from California, Oregon, Utah and Vanderbilt, to name a few. Writing for Scout.com, Blair Angulo said the following of Tafisi at the all-Poly camp last June in Sandy, Utah:
Coaches searching for a steady inside linebacker should look no further than Tafisi. The three-star prospect flew to the football, hit holes at full speed to meet blocks and ball carriers, and might have been the most reliable tackler in the event.
