The first Hawaiian since the class of 2012 is officially a Dawg.

Zion Tupuola-Fetui is a (physically) big OLB from Pearl City, Hawaii, who had been considered a Washington lean for months before committing a couple weeks ago.
He’s considered a three-star recruit with a 247 composite rating of .863.
His other top choices were Vanderbilt and Cal and, while he may not have the crazy offer list of other recruits, his future development and contribution to the Washington defense will be interesting to follow; at 6’4” and 250 lbs, he could play as a big BUCK-style player, however as it stands now he’s a lanky 250 lbs whose frame could easily bulk up to play further inside.
Whatever position he ends up at with the Dawgs, his physical specs make him a versatile prospect with a high ceiling.
With his senior highlights not out yet, here’s an interview from last summer’s Pylon 7-on-7 tournament.
Do good things, don’t do bad things, and bow down to Washington.
