Osborne was the first non-Sirmon to commit in this class, pledging his word almost a year ago in early-mid February.
He chose UW over offers from Miami, Michigan, Oregon, UCLA, and others, and his recruitment since then has been 100% stress-free to follow; he’s never given any evidence of wavering in his verbal to the Huskies and has been emphatically Dawg ever since committing.
The receiver from Mission Viejo, California, is one of the top 300 recruits in the country and it’s not hard to see why. At 6’3”, he’s a big target for future quarterbacks to throw to, but his value hardly ends there. He has both good straight-line speed and quick-twitch like one would expect to find from a smaller receiver, has strong hands, and is a better-than-average route-runner. And while high school stats aren’t by themselves significant, he’s accumulated his fair share of numbers: 24 YPC, 49 TDs, 3,287 yards, etc.
Do good things, don’t do bad things, and bow down to Washington.
