The Washington Huskies received a signed letter of intent on Wednesday from Defensive Lineman Mosiah Liu. The 6’3 275 pounder out of Emerald Ridge High School in Puyallup played defensive end in high school but will likely be moved inside to defensive tackle at UW. He is graded as a 3-star recruit by 247sports, the #884 recruit in the country, and the 9th best recruit in the state of Washington.

Mosiah committed to Utah back in August but at that time didn’t hold an offer from Washington. When the Huskies finally came calling that changed. He announced his decommitment after receiving the offer but took an extra week before finalizing things with Washington. The final decision was made on Thanksgiving night.
The Emerald Ridge Jaguars struggled this season despite Mosiah’s contributions. The team finished 2-8. Mosiah finished with 47 tackles, 7 TFL, and 2 sacks. He also led the team in carries as a jumbo running back with 85 going for 497 yards (5.8 YPC) and a pair of touchdowns. His senior highlights can be seen below.
