If you want to keep up-to-date with news concerning the football program all in one easy-to-digest format, feel free to follow Ryan on Twitter and to subscribe to his lists of UW's beat reporters, Washington athletes, Washington coaches, and Washington athletics prospects. To the Dots!
Football Dots
- Good news for Comcast subscribers as Pac-12 Network is making the national feed part of its "Digital Starter" package. This means people will be able to get a channel in HD that customers only received in low-quality, or not at all. Although it sounds like the tradeoff might be that Pac-12 Washington will only be in SD...but it's pretty unclear.
- ICYMI our own gekko Chris Landon offered his thoughts on commissioner Larry Scott's inability to get a deal done with DirecTV, among other things.
- Chris Petersen's "Real Life Wednesdays" got very real this week with a visit from the King County Prosecuting Attorney's office. The subject was assault and domestic violence.
- The National Football Foundation announced it's 2017 CFB Hall of Fame nominees and former UW defensive back Al Worley is among the thirteen players from Pac-12 schools on the ballot. Worley was a first team All-American in 1968 when he recorded an NCAA record 14 interceptions.
- Sports Press NW did this story on Worley last year when he was nominated for the first time.
- We already have kickoff times for five Husky football games this fall, including the first four home games. The season will start with an 11:00 AM game against Rutgers on September 3rd.
- ESPN's Chantel Jennings has her pick for Washington's most indispensable player.
- Ted Miller examines which Pac-12 teams should make a jump or a fall in 2016 based on what has happened the past few seasons.

Basketball Dots
- Former Kentucky forward Marcus Lee, who withdrew his name form the NBA draft and was thought to be transferring to Cal, visited UW on Wednesday. Lee will have to sit out next season wherever he transfers.
- How about some Markelle Fultz highlights? This is from the Nike Hoop Summit.
- DraftExpress has a video profile of Marquese Chriss with workout footage and an interview.
- Andrew Andrews is one of six players being worked out by the Milwaukee Bucks.
Misc Dots
- Husky relief pitcher Troy Rallings was selected as a first team All-American, becoming just the third UW baseball player ever to achieve that honor.
- Rallings also becomes only the second Husky to win Pac-12 Pitcher of the Year.
- The news is not all good for Rallings, as muscle soreness will cause him to miss this weekend's regional play in the NCAA tournament. The Huskies face UC Santa Barbara today at noon on ESPN3.
- Mason Kelley has a nice feature on UW third baseman Chris Baker, whose father was diagnosed with lymphocytic leukemia during Chris's senior year in high school.
