Football Dots

• Get to know new Husky WR Jordan Chin, courtesy of the guys at Dawgman.

• ESPN’s Chantel Jennings continues her countdown of the top "Offensive Triplets" in the Pac-12. Oregon checks in at number 6 with one of the top WR/RB combos in the conference, but a question mark at QB. That puts UW in the top 5 of this ranking.

• Jennings also takes Phil Steele’s Experience Chart and does a Pac-12 breakdown. It’s not really about experience but more about starters/backups by class, so UW’s youth puts them only above USC and Stanford in "experience."

• Jason Kirk of SB Nation does a full bowl breakdown with his predictions. He lists LSU as the #1 team playing Clemson in the National Championship Game. He predicts N.C. Central taking on Grambling State in the Celebration Bowl. Oh, he also has the Washington Huskies in the Rose Bowl.

• A 3-star CB from La Mirada, CA picked up an offer from USC. He is being recruited by the Dawgs and plans to make an official visit to Seattle.

Basketball Dots

• Larry Stone of the Seattle Times wonders if there is anything shady about UW’s pursuit of Michael Porter, Jr.
