- Chris Fetters examines the commitment of Ty Jones and how his pledge will impact the Huskies' 2017 class. Greg Biggins also took a look at Jones' commitment and says you'll be hard pressed to find a better wide receiver class in the Pac-12 when all is said and done.
- 5-star OL Wyatt Davis spoke with Greg Biggins this week about some of the schools he's most interested in and says he'll be coming back up to Montlake with his parents next month for a second visit after he enjoyed his first one so much. He says he loves how genuine the staff is and was blown away by Washington's facilities.
- Marlon Tuipulotu is taking part in The Opening's Oakland regional today and while down in the Bay Area he decided to head over to Cal for an impromptu visit with Sonny Dykes and staff. Despite the visit, Marlon says he is still solidly committed to the Huskies.
- Last weekend's May Madness event in Tukwila attracted much of the region's top talent and Scott Eklund breaks down the top performers ($). Jacob Sirmon, Connor Wedington, and Salvon Ahmed all make the list.
- Lars Hanson caught up with UW commit Jacob Sirmon after May Madness last weekend. Sirmon says one prospect he's recruiting to join him on Montlake is his cousin LB Jackson Sirmon, a 4-star 2018 prospect out of Loyola down in LA.
- Connor Wedington updated Scott Eklund on his recruitment and said although he has seen a handful of new offers roll in since his commitment to the Dawgs back in February, he is still solidly committed and even doing his best to recruit some of the region's top 2017 talent to join him at UW.
- 4-star ATH Salvon Ahmed says along with Husky coaches, Washington commits Hunter Bryant and Connor Wedington have been in his ear about joining the class. He says he's very comfortable around Chris Petersen and usually they don't even talk about football when they catch up. Salvon will cut his list to 5 schools this summer and he plans on making a commitment by the middle of his senior season.
- Kim Grinolds spoke with Hunter Bryant last weekend and the 4-star TE commit spoke about the recruiting process and what led to him deciding to stay home to play for the Huskies.
- Scott Eklund was able to catch up with 2016 signees Isaiah Gilchrist and Brandon Wellington at May Madness and they chatted about what they've been up to in the offseason. Both are excited to get up to Montlake and start their Husky careers.
