The University of Washington Men’s Basketball Program announced the signing of Carlos Johnson. The 6-foot-4, 220-pound guard/small forward originally from Oakland, California should provide an infusion of offense for a team that lost its top 3 scorers from last season
Johnson originally committed to UNLV but reconsidered after the coaching carousel in Vegas. He attended Findlay Prep in Henderson, Nevada where he averaged 15 points per game. His high school transcript also has stops at El Cerrito High School in California and Shadow Mountain High School in Phoenix.

Depending on what recruiting service you read, Johnson is a 2 or 3 star recruit. He had visited Oregon State and Boise State before picking the Huskies.
Johnson looks to be an athletic guard/small forward that will fit right in with the uptempo, high octane Husky offense. He joins Sam Timmons and Markelle Fultz in Washington's 2016-1017 incoming class.
