The Huskies need a deep run in the Pac-12 tournament in order to revive their NCAA tournamnet hopes. But before Husky fans can worry about a quarterfinals match-up with the league champion Oregon Ducks, they will first need to defeat the ninth seed Stanford Cardinal.
The Huskies defeated the Cardinal back in February 64-53 in the two teams only match-up this season. Dejounte Murray led the Huskies with 25 points and were able to get past the Cardinal despite only getting eight points out of Andrew Andrews.
I expect the sting of the last second loss to the Cardinal in last year's Pac-12 tournament still lingers in Andrews mind a bit and hope that he is able to exact some revenge today.
