- One name to keep an eye on is Temecula Chaparral ATH Michael Onyemaobi who says though he has not yet received an offer from the Huskies, he does hear from WR coach Bush Hamdan quite often. Michael says that he has spoken to his buddy Kamari Pleasant about playing together up in Seattle. In an interview with Brandon Huffman this week, Michael said that he'll be attending the Huskies' camp this summer.
- Lars Hanson spoke with Katy (Texas) linebacker Breydon Boyd this week about his interest in Washington. Boyd took a trip to Montlake in late February and was impressed with what he saw. He loved being able to get to know coach Petersen and coach Gregory and he even gave some love to coach Socha, saying that he felt really good about the strength coach's philosophy.
- Greg Biggins caught up with 4-star WR Osiris St. Brown who said that Washington will definitely be getting a visit from him. He also noted that Washington was among the top 3 schools currently standing out most to him.
- 3-star OG Casey Roddick says that the Huskies are one of a handful of schools that he is hearing from the most.
- ($) Washington remains in a good spot with 4-star TE Jimmy Jaggers. He says he likes the way the Huskies use TEs in their offense and likes the direction UW's program is headed with Chris Petersen at the helm.
- 3-star Folsom OLB Ariel Ngata updated Scout on his recruitment and says that Washington is in his top 5. He took a visit to Montlake in February and loved what he saw. Ariel say that Bob Gregory is his main recruiter, but also hears quite a bit from Chris Petersen.
- 4-star DT Popo Aumavae has seen his recruitment heat up and one of the schools in the mix for him is Washington. UW was the first visit he took and he was really impressed with the academics as well as how tightly the football program is run.
- Local 4-star OL Henry Bainivalu is still taking his time in regards to recruiting, but he does say that the Huskies are certainly still in the mix. One thing UW has in their favor is the fact that former Washington DL Cam Elisara, who was a member of the same recruiting class as Jake Locker, is Bainivalu's position coach and algebra teacher.
- Washington is set to have a number of early enrollees from the 2016 class and one of those was supposed to be Sean McGrew. It looks like that will no longer be the case as McGrew says that he will instead enroll with the rest of the freshman class this summer in order to fully enjoy his senior year of high school and all of the memories that come with it.
- UW is making an early impression on 2018 TE Brevin Jordan who already has the Huskies in his top 5:
