Heading into yesterday's game, the Huskies needed to take care of business against a depleted Stanford Cardinal team.
And boy, did they ever.
The Huskies jumped out on the Cardinal as they held them without a field goal for nearly nine minutes and ended the game in the first half. The destruction was completed at a final score of 91-68. Now, the Huskies turn their attention to the top seeded Oregon Ducks, who are coming off their first regular season league title since the 2002-2003 season. The Ducks are flying high at 25-6, and I expect the Ducks to come out energized and ready to play. They will be looking to secure a one seed in the NCAA tournament by wrapping up a Pac-12 tournament title, so expect them to look to come out and jump on the Dawgs early. Still, I believe the Huskies will be as fired up, if not more fired up to play today and I expect this one to be a high-scoring, entertaining affair.
You can find the game on the Pac-12 Washington channel, tip off is at noon.
