Washington has dabble in recruiting the Lone Star state over the years, but put more of an emphasis on recruiting there when Chris Petersen was hired. That persistence paid off in a big way with the commitment of 4-star DE Levi Onwuzurike last month. Michigan made a big push for him and some thought Baylor would be able to keep him in-state, but in the end he really liked the "Built for life" recruiting pitch and forged a strong bond with DC Pete Kwiatkowski. This was a big-time get for the Huskies as they beat out schools such as Oklahoma, Stanford, TCU, Oregon, Miami (FL), Oklahoma State, Mizzou, Georgia and more to land him. It will be interesting to see if he gets his first shot at DE or BUCK when he arrives.
