When local stud Isaiah Gilchrist of Bellevue H.S. committed to the Huskies back in September, it wasn't much of a surprise - he was long considered a heavy lean to Washington, and there was some thought he would end his recruitment over the summer. It took a bit longer than that, but he ended up deciding to make his pledge to the Huskies without taking any other official visits and was the 2nd of what has turned out to be group of CB commits in this class. A consensus 4-star prospect, he's slated for the secondary though he's got the athleticism and skills to get a look at RB too. He played safety for the Wolverines this year simply to get him into the action more as he was rarely tested out wide at CB, and it's certainly possible he could end up sliding over to safety for the Huskies as well.
