One of the things Chris Petersen and his staff became known for at Boise State was identifying under-the-radar recruits and developing them into outstanding college football players.  Petersen has lamented that once his staff extends an offer to a prospect, other schools come flooding in with offers, figuring that Petersen knows what he's doing.  One such recruit in this class has been Kentrell Love.  Originally a 3-star prospect out of Centennial H.S. (Corona, CA), Love has seen his stock rise significantly and is now a 4-star recruit in the database, their #3 CB prospect in the West region as well a 4-star prospect according to  Greg Biggins of has been effusive in his praise of Love, calling him "...the most physical corner out west" and one with " much potential as any corner out West."

Love committed back at the end of July but the Huskies had to fend off a late push from UCLA and USC to flip him as his family really wanted him to check out the local schools.
